Internship Card Solutions Marketing Assignment

ING Wholesale Banking is offering an Internship for a Student that wants to gain working experience / do a marketing research for a thesis.  Within the Card Solutions department we offer global card programs to our corporate clients worldwide. Client satisfaction with the card program is our key objective.  Pricing can differentiate form client to client based on volumes agreed with the clients.  There is a possibility to receive a discount on standard pricing for the larger card programs.  Pricing has usually been determined at the start of the initial contract and is then reviewed from time to time. This is an ongoing process, for which we now seek assistance via an Internship.

The Internship will mainly focus on helping the team to analyze if agreed pricing is still appropriate for the client given the size of the business and to help the team to increase the overall profitability of the portfolio. Your work environment: You will become part of the Cash Advisory & Structuring team that services our Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions and supports the TS Sales teams in our network. Cards Solutions has the ambition to be the differentiating factor for clients who bank with ING. Given technical developments and increased competition, this requires continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for: Delivering an good insight in current agreed pricing schemes, an analysis of clients where the current pricing does no longer fit the delivered volumes and setting up a commercial plan to increase overall profitability.
