Although we have offices in multiple countries, you will work at our headquarters in Amsterdam. The building is located in the East near the Muiderpoort station and with a Gym, nature park and water around the corner, you have good accessibility, nature walks or Gym sessions just around the corner.
What will I be doing?
Good question! In this role, you will be part of the Data team; the heart of our operation. Within the Data team you will work in the Data Engineering team.
You will improve the current data models in our data warehouse, create new models for new data sources and automate this wherever you can. Also you will have the opportunity to help out with more data engineering specific projects.
You work in a small team, which gives you a lot of authority for the best possible Data solutions and to put your own stamp on it. You work with the latest open source tools and technologies to help develop the data platform. In order for you to succeed, you get a lot of autonomy in the team, but you are guided where necessary by more experienced Data colleagues.
What skills do I need?
- Be available for a regular internship. (4-6 months)
- Follow a relevant Data related study, pursuing a Master’s degree
- Problem solver, critical thinker and good communicator
- Have a passion and eye for solving problems through Data
- Experience with SQL and either Python or R
- Experience with data modelling
