Internship communications and user adoption at ING

An important task for Workplace Service is the introduction of new digital workplace tools & features and migrating our services to new, improved versions for all global ING colleagues. We are looking for an intern who can help us set up end user friendly communications for these migrations and introductions. We also help our global colleagues to optimise their way of working with the (Microsoft 365) tools. One way to do this is to create snackable, short content to get their interest. During your internship you’ll help us create newsletters, online news items on our SharePoint site(s) and other content. You’ll also create emails, write articles for the ING intranet, develop visual aids (such as quick start guides and OnePagers) and you’ll manage our ‘My Workplace community’ on Yammer.

Wat ga je doen?

If so, you will be part of our Workplace Services team for at least four to six months, starting in September 2022. There will be lots of opportunities to try out new ideas! You will help improve our end user communications and make our channels and activities future-proof. Workplace Services is a uniquely pivotal ING department where no day is the same. Examples of what you would be doing:

  • Improve engagement for the My Workplace community on Yammer. Stimulate colleagues to use Yammer and come up with ideas to make the community grow.
  • Write and create the New Digital Workplace newsletter in which new tools and features are introduced.
  • Create weekly news items for our SharePoint HUB site. This can be in text, video or images.
  • Help develop emails, user instructions and knowledge articles for new tools and services.
  • Share any other ideas on how we could use modern channels to improve our end user communications!

Wat krijg je er voor terug?

  • A 32-hours per week internship for three to six months.
  • You will be part of a small enthusiastic and dedicated team.
  • A dynamic, international environment where you can learn at a fast pace.
  • A great chance to develop yourself as an online community manager and adoption expert and learn about internal communications at a high level.
  • Internship allowance and travel compensation.

Important to know: To be able to do an internship at ING, you must be enrolled at a Dutch educational institution throughout your internship.
